Better piece of advice,Nick, from my end...............If you see such a chart, don't bother trying to decipher it.Chuck it,Move on to the next one.

Dear saint!

in the adjoining chart please confirm-

(A)
is (1) pivot high or rounding top?
can we consider it our normal pivot high?

(B)
Are (2) and (3) could be considered as pivot high and pivot low respectively?

(c)what is 4 ?

regards
mahesh

Dear Raj
It's nice to see you put up charts and asking for correctness of the trade that you actually undertook.
Anyway, I'm stating my observations pointwise:

(1) Weekly made higher low...but not higher high. Till weekly makes higher high we can't say for sure that uptrend is in progress. See the weekly chart......the next pivot high is also of the same value as the prev one making it look very much like a double top formation.

(2) Even if you have entered...taking some risks...and somewhat predicting what's going to hapen....then also.....you shud have exited the whole when you saw that the next day was a gap-up opening.

(3) Lastly not a very clean chart to trade. Lots of ups and downs and choppy beahviour.

Also, never get discouraged when SLs are hit. That's the part of the game.

Cheers
