Default How to scan for opening price gaps?

I'm using Geojit web trading interface, it is more like a browser window. How can I find stocks that gap at the open, through this or any other site?

Information on stocks with opening gaps for the day is available on www.moneycontrol.com under "Technical Analysis" section.

aca

Thats a real help... thanks

Reminds me of a favourite quote "knowledge is of 2 kinds... either you know something , or you know where to find information about it "

In my view, gaps/breakouts coupled with new 52 week highs/ lows, if researched well (with some Fundamental analysis) can yield good picks to folks who are not privy to insider info and have to rely solely on their intellect to make money as traders/investors

Phew !! thats a long sentence , but hopefully food for thought

I am certainly in the second category.
That particular section of Moneycontrol really provides a lot of info. Especially stocks crossing DMA's is really good for swing trader.

Wish I 'ld use that information for my own trading.
