hi friends,
Has anyone tried intraday with 10,15 ema crossover in 5 minutes time frame? If yes, then pls share your views. Hope this strategy gives less whipsaws during intraday.

Please post some intraday charts with these two T.A!

Thanks!

There can be hundreds of such combination. If u have tested 10, 15 ema in 5TF and gives good results, then post some charts to that effect, instead of asking members to post charts

And, why u hope that this will give less whipsaws? any rationale/reasoning/studies?

You can also use only one 8, or maybe 9 SMA and trade..

Setup would be:
price above the EMA go long with stop loss below the line,
and add if the next candle opens above the previous one,
trail stops to the close of previous candle or open of the current candle,
according to your conservativeness and aggressiveness.

Same for going short.

If any queries feel free to ask

Even Making a band with 9 EMA (or whatever suits that particular security) High and 9 EMA Low and trade it on closing basis of above and below the band.

u may use macd for correct interpretation.. If even after one is in loss in particular day, then u have to accept that.. But think for long time..
Nyways thanks for the chart..

Macd is more or less similar to Moving averages plotted on a chart...so there may not be much divergence unless the values vary much between them

U can even refer to this thread , which has more clarity on ema crossovers
