Calculate Target price?How to

#1
Hi all,

This is my first post and I'm a newbie.. I've read many documentations and started off safe by just analysing the stock market daily and reading up on companies that I want to invest in .
I made my choices and I'm ready to invest however Im not sure when to "pull the plug" . I know this is perhaps the most important thing So i've tried a lot to find information on this and i understand there is no sure cut Mathematical way to this.

However for a starter if anyone can please let me know how the target price of a stock is calculated I would be grateful.

Thank you
Sham

YOU CAN CALCULATE THIS WAY:

Previous day's price range (i.e. High - Low )*.477

SUPPOSE AXIS BANK'S PREVIOUS DAY'S HIGH & LOW PRICE WAS RS. 1330 AND RS. 1270, THEN PREVIOUS DAY'S RANGE IS (1330-1270) =60.

NOW YOU CAN FIX TARGET PRICE AS :
YOUR ACTION TAKEN PRICE +/- (60*.477)
