Moving averages

Hello all !

This post is just to ask,which moving average among Simple,Expotential & Wighted is used most? To the best of my knowledge it's Expotential.But what I've found is 20 time period Weighted is also working fine.

It would be of great help,if experts can comment on this.

Variable

Vol. Adjusted

- Price field moving averages :

Open

High

Low

Close

Median price

Typical price

- It depends very much on your software, what you can use and it also depends if you are able to chance the formula in this software you use.

There is no ""most used"" and if so, that would be a very clear sign, not to use it as every monkey in the market would use it.
