Do you have a sample stock file that you can share. I am new to the market and am not sure what R1,R2,R3,PP,S1,S2 mean.

Can anybody explaint this to me. How can this be used to make decisions on the stock?.

Prashanth,

These are the pivot levels (say imaginary numbers) like Resistance 3,2,1 and Support3,2,1 where the stock can find the resistance or Support for the coming days trading.

This can be used to get a fair idea of how the stock and behave for the next day.

I was trying to use your software.
Here is what I did.

1) Created a file called stock.txt with the following data in it.

RELIANCE 794.2 807.90 794.5 806.00


2) In the application, browsed for the file stock.txt and clicked on load. Nothing happened.

3) When I try to click on "Pivor for All", it says "No stocks to process".

Can u help me run this software?.

The format is

RELIANCE,794.2,807.90,794.5,806.00

at present i have put the "comma" as delimiter, may be i will give an option to select the right delimiter.

I have the following in my stock.txt file

WIPRO,403.00,404.00,386.15,386.65
HINDALCO,149.0,149.0,145.10,146.30
ABB,1750.00,1787.00,1750.00,1766.30

I try to load this file, nothing happens. Can I have the fav. file blank?.
