Pivot Points - Can you predict medium term trend?

While most of us would have utilized Pivot Points to guess market trends for the daily movements, has anyone used it for medium term say 2-4 weeks or a bit more? Is it accurate enough?

Well yes many analyst have tried using weekly and monthly pivot points. In my opinion it should work. However, I have not used them personally and hence cannot comment on their accuracy.

I couldn't see anything useful in particular. Can you make out something concrete out of it? Please advice.

I am trying to find monthly range of Nifty. Should I try out something else?
