In the Indian stock market, there are several stocks are listed both on NSE and BSE. What is the best method to shortlist or screen the stock to get gain. One can not go through all the stock all the time. Senior members please give the guidance

I think Metastock(EOD) is available at reasonable price.
With metastock ,you can screen all the stock in few seconds.
There are so many indicators, oscillators which gives good results.
But I like MACD,RSI.SMOOTHENED RSI,STOCHASTIC ,ROC AND MOVING AVERAGES.

Apart from MetaStock which is available at http://www.equis.com/ you can download a free working trial of amibroker at http://www.amibroker.com/download.html and give it a try. Amibroker comes with amiquote (Internet stock downloader program).

Make sure to read the amibroker FAQ and tutorials.
