When I first entered Traderji one and a half month back, I was unable understand anything where to start and how to go about in building my own strategy.
For beginners there was no reference.
I thought of providing the required links for the purpose.
Take out sometime and try answering the following questions, by the time you finish answering the last question, you are likely to have a draft strategy.
1. How much do you want to make in a year or in a month?
2. What is the capital you are going to invest?
3. How much of your capital you are going to risk?
4. What is the time frame you are going to operate in?
5. What are the markets you are going to trade?
6. What are the BUY setup conditions?
7. What are the SELL setup conditions?
8. Do you want to trade both in trending and nontrending markets?
9. If so, What are the indicators you are going to use?
10. Where are the stop losses going to be set up?
11. Any other issue you want to add to this?
Backtest your draft strategy on atleast 200 different trades and forward testing on a minimum of 40 trades. Then fine tune your strategy to give better or maximum results.
