Scanner based on Technical Indicator values

#1
Hi All,

I am looking for website or software which can scan for stocks based on particular technical indicator. For example, I may want to get a list of all stocks whose RSI(14) is above 50 and volume is above 100000 and price is above 100Rs.

Another example, I want to get a list of all stocks whose price is between 1000 and 1200 and MACD(12,26) fast line is above MACD(12,26) slow line and price is above upper bollinger band(20).

Something like that. It would be great if I can customize even the time periods of the indicator, for example like RSI(20) instead of regular RSI(14). (This may be asking for too much. Even if this feature is not there, I am okay). Forgot to add...prefer if the website/software is free :)

I am new to India markets. I know such scanners are available for US stocks. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Dear koolguyme,

I don't think there is such kinda scanner in India. You can go to some brokerage house, ask them do they provide such kind software.

One thing you can do for that you should be smart in MS-Excel. :)

Thanks for the reply. What about AmiBroker and Metastock? Do they have this kind of functionality? And are they free? :)
