Candlestick Patterns - Quick Survey

In a general opinion, without too much analysis, in your experience which candlestick pattern is the more effective for bullish and bearish markets ?

Candlesticks do help, But it cannot show you trends, you have to do your own analysis.

I am not looking for a trend signal, I just want to know for other traders, which is their prefered Candle pattern...
