For Swing Trading Kindly suggest the chart settings. For example, currently I am using icharts. I need to know the following settings which works best for swing trading:

Symbol: will type the script code or name
Period: DAILY OR WEEKLY-----Which is the ideal settings for swing trade.
Chart Size: SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE---Which is the ideal settings for swing
Pre defined date range: 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year or intraday chart, which chart should I refer.

I think these questions are silly, however, without clearing these questions, I find it difficuilt to move forward.

Started a week back----I hope there will be lot of questions running in this thread by every novice in traderji

If you have started just a week ago, I suggest you get hold of a good starter book that gives you concise knowledge in an organized fashion rather than collecting bits and pieces randomly on the web.

The books will explain you everything about which indicators to use and what settings to use.

For charting, it is not necessary to use paid software. You can use free charting websites like www.icharts.in/charts.html or www.rupeeking.com

Well my exp is that its very tiresome to go thru books and many other literatures. I personally was also looking to jump into bandwagon was looking for some good books/resources for the same but in vain. I then with help of some frnds I invested my time in reading blogs/forums on net, further handpicking few powerful and popular strategies and trying to learn them and on the way as you become familiar with concepts start referring them to books for further knowledge on them.

There are tons and many blogs on internet with very valuable info :! . I would compile them and post it in this thread for reference. As for stratigies also there are many and one needs to do some research and get comfortable with one that suits one's requirement. In Traderji itself, if u dig deep, u'll find some very intresting methods lke '60 min flow from Saint' etc.
