Default Technical analysis certification

Recently a few guys have gone forward and started India's first TA Association.

http://www.taindia. org/

Since its still in its infancy, I feel that it will take time before they start having Certifications though it would not harm to ask them about the same.

BSE conducts some classes on TA as well.

If you are looking for Certification and cannot wait, better option would to be do the same at Singapore since its the nearest and with launch of low cost airways, cost to go there is not too huge.

Their next exam is scheduled for 7th Oct 2009

Default Re: Technical analysis certification

Hi Sanjay,
I wonder why one needs a certification of being a TA. I mean, a TA is not gonna apply for a 30K pm job, so why these "add-on qualifications" at all?

An "accomplished" TA is the one who can lets profit run, not the one who knows what technical indicators are but not how to use them.
