HI umer... options trading requires some amount of capital as margin .. as well as if u are a buyer of options then as time passes by and the stock moves no where or opposite to ur option position u lose...

paper trade first and see the results

It is well said that -"You can learn to ride bicycle well if you fall on the ground few times due to imbalance...". Any way my advise is you can learn better by observations. Try to collect data from nseindia.com where under F&O menu go to 'Historical Data'. You collect today's data wherein you will find under each 'Strike Price' (try index first) the number of "Open Interest" which is highest and relating to it where Addition to Open Interest is the highest. Try that 'Strike Price' first, invest money (the Strike Price should be near to or slighly above the current Index value (let to say it CMP). Put money and fix target of Index value to exit, or better fix a Price after addition of 15-20% to your buying premium value. Try to control your greed and fear. I hope you will earn good return and at the same time overcome your fear. Try!

can anybody tell me on which index in nifty one can trade on dervative in the starting week of september.one can buy a call or a put and if one buys a call then on which index one can rely on and if one buys put on which index can he buy his dervative order.

U can buy a Book written by Hull...book name is Hull-optons,futures and other derivatives..5th edition...it is good book covering evering u want to know abt Options....

It is available in all major book stores...it is also used in all B-schools and by the students of financial Management......if u are comfortable with E-book version then u can serach this book on 4 . shared and r a pid share..
