Nifty has done a "" TD Camoflauge" pattern today. It is a pattern in which it closes above the open but closes below yesterdays close.

This pattern indicates that short term bottom is in place and mkt to take upswing.Lets see how it works out tomorrow !!!!

The sell pattern is mirror image of the above.Closes below the open but above yesterday"s close.

Trade well !!!

Posting today's intraday Nifty Future chart. The bars are 3 minutes bars.( I find 3 min as a good timeframe for daytrade,1 min is too short and 5/10 min too long )

The chart shows how one can trade only on TDST levels. Upto 2.00 pm all upswings could be shorted with TDST as stoploss. Then at 3.00 there was a TDST breakout at 4364=60 giving a buy signal. This upmove was very strong and a daytrader"s delight ( giving more than 35 points in 30 min !!! Very profitable move.

TD Camoflauge pattern added confidence to the upmove.

Trade well

Ken,

I may be going wrong here but my calculation says it's 11 of count down on 08/20....

My 9 has occured for ABAN on 07/01/08. From then I started counting for Close less than or equal to the low 2 trading days earlier.

I'm just counting them manually to get good hold onto the system as well as get feel of system.

Kindly give your opinion.

Struggling to learn,
Apurv

You are perfectly right about 9th on 1st July 08. About the 13th it gives a buy as per the AFL. Logic appears to be correct.

Yes again it is 9th yesterday and indicates Recycling.

Request Smart trade to clarify on the 13th day as in MS. Not by counting manually.

Regards
ken

Hello Kenneth,Apurv

http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/9...nseqbuyhe1.jpg

Attached is ABAN chart with Buy Setup and Buycountdown markings shown on it.I am getting 13 th countdown buy at 18-8-2008.We can tally day with day and find out where we are going wrong. We have to start countdown earliest from 9 th day if intersection is complete on or before 9 th set up bar.

Before the count down is complete there is no other set up in the same direction. So there cannot be recycling. But the stockprice hitting a stoploss and making another set up and count down is always there !!!

BTW Stoploss here is 2235 on closing basis.

Trade Well,Best Wishes,

Smart_trade

Hi friends,
I have been following this thread recently and all of u guys are doing a great job... thanks a lot to all
Kenneth sir , as "smart trade" sir pointed out that after the "9" there is a period of consolidation and there should be 13 bars with the low being lower than or equal to the low of their respective 2 bars earlier"..
In the afl provided in this thread so far all we can see in amibroker is the number 9 and then try to figure out the 13 bars manually..its a time consuming thing and also error prone.. if possible please write that kind of afl..sorry for troubling u

Smart trade sir.. till the time the above request is not done..could u manuall scan the nifty stocks and post if they are buy / sell mode

Smart_Trade,

I have observed in your chart of ABAN that countdown 1 has started from day before day of 9..... any specific reasoning or concept behind that??? Please share your opinion....

Feeling lazy in weekend,
Apurv

i have the demark plugin for metastock.Im attachung nifty fut eod chart updated till yesterday.i think the analysis differs from the 1 people are posting here...also it is not the same as the amibroker AFL...
which is correct & which is wrong..
also sum1 has written sum metastock codes....is it correct????
as per my expert,,, most of the time it is detecting tops & bottoms at the wrong places.
sum1 here shud clarify the doubt.but i think this system has got gud potential but further study is needed.
