I am also using a pivot strength based function currently.
You can have a look at the singletffib and multifib pictures posted earlier.
For the sake of completeness I would like to support the default t3 pivot mechanism. Maybe if I can see the pivots on nifty eod I can figure out the mathematical rule that causes the pivot to plot.

Thanks,

And before someone asks me What is the RIGHT path, let me quote from the Socratic method and say - "The reproach which is often made against me, that I ask questions of others and have not the wit to answer them myself, is very just-the reason is, that the god compels me to be a midwife, but does not allow me to give birth"

Have read in one of your other posts about MAs not being very useful when used in traditional ways.

As i said, it will take me time, but will get there. Surely will need to keep asking for directions along the way.

Thanks

Indeed. At this stage of your trading development you should be more inclined to research on the design process and updating your scenario pool from where you can build theoretically sound methods to trade the markets.Any method that is based on borrowed concepts that are not thought out carefully will fall apart sooner or later and you wont even know ther reason behind it.Another factor is confidence in following a method that is sound in theory and stats.

So once you have a holistic view of the markets you can use any tactical method be it MAs or ADX in an efficient manner.

Hmm..I dont think thats a good idea.Technical Support is important when working with a s/w moreover the versions listed on the site are primitive, most are 5-7 years old.

I will send you a PM Raja when I get some time off.

As for capm, just look at any professional trader: most will trade high beta (i.e high volatility) and most will trade outperformers i.e high alpha (similar to high rs). Search this forum for my other post on capm if you want more details.
I have written systems based on the principles of emh/capm. Only issue is I am not yet giving out the code. Just as people in this thread are not giving out code for their 'magical adx systems'.
Cheers,
Raja
It took you 3days to come out with an explanation?
Anyway, it's good to have made your acquaintance.

Signing off.
