Password protection with time based
Hi
Can somebody help in putting a time based password for any indicator. For eg a particular indicator should work till 31st July 2008 and after that if the indicator is plotted on the chart it does not show / it shows value as zero.

Which charting software do you intend to use?
In Amibroker there are functions like year() month() you can use them for the purpose. encryption of an afl is not yet possible, so you have to convert it in to dll.

Black Box seller's normally need these,i belive,otherwise MS also has Month / Yr / Date / Hr. but for other purpose the IP validation may work .

Dada now a days ,.. password protection for any metastock formulle doesnt work , as per my best knowledge, there r some utilities available which can remove password protection from MS formulle, Amibroker formulle or Tradestation formulle.
So better share ur knowledge , rather then keeping it prop..... Regards,.. Darsh
