dada i ojject what u say... about PTI

when PTI,,is greater than or equal to 35,,,,it is assumed that we will ahve wave 5 whetehr it si upward / or down wrad trend,,,but we will have wave 5,,,,and that too...

if in downtrend,,then lower tahn 3rd wave
and if in uptrend ,,,,,upper tahn 3 rd wave
so PTI is very imp in that way,,,it remains constant for many times but price is head,,so this can also change from 62 to 18 pti,,,,

it occurs during 4 wave in mode,,,,showing 4is in completeion and 5 is starting ,,and relating its height ,,,more than 3rd or not...

renu
if i am wrong,, rectify me...anyone

As per my calculations, NIFTY will definitely make a short upmove but not possible till 4600. @ 14500 on SENSEX there is a Gap created which is not yet tested. The mkt will make attempt to test that gap and from thereon it will form its own primery course which is downward.

This is possible only on Monday and tuesday. Beyond which it is not possible. Also mkt is currently in an oversold territory; that is also one of the reason for this bounceback. secondly CRUDE which is responsible has not closed above $142 mark which would b the breakout level. Any closing above 142 will take it to 152 - 155 mark within no time. That will create a havoc in the mkt.
Which is possible only after tuesday.

Hence on monday and tuesday all those r stuckup can book Profit/Losses and wait for mkt to give any signal.
The NIFTY level corresponding to imp level is @ 4325 - 4350 range.... MAX 4400. Thereafter if mkt closes below 4325 level.... PLS short the mkt for tgt of @ 3500 Level in next 7 - 8 trading sessions.

I am posting this figure by analysing Elliott waves.

I second you. even about 4600 (not sure about 5 sessions)

I dont care much about it, as am a day trader. but you have a valid point.

Fundamental 'news' is we are in buy zone below 14300
Price 'news' is we are at strong support zone
But there's a strong headwind (of Black Swan proportions) in the form of oil prices (& it's effect on inflation & int rates, which in turn generates adverse Fundamental 'news'). Hence Event 'news' is overpowering the other 2 forms.

So i don't think the bottom will be in place till the worst has been factored in, the levels for which would be 13300 (optimistic), 12500 (optimum) & 12000 (pessimistic).

Let me know when it signals C5 has ended

But what if we have a bounce from 3900 lvls & then another downleg. What would that be? (An extended C?) And what would AGET signal in such an event? Does it show the wave count automatically or is there user discretion involved?

Regards
