So the whole thing is to select 5 stocks from so many of them which have a good chance to oscillate and figure out that oscillating mean position which most probably should be the opening position as then things would become more easy.

As it should be evident from the post,i am a newbie with zero experience. Can some seniors throw in some light.I have installed amibroker but i dont know how to write the program. Is it possible to backtest this idea if it is really worth it.

THEORITICALLY ..."YES".... but PRACTICALLY ......."NO".

Sillu ,I agree with you.Trading appears to be easy ,once you look at Nifty Graph on NSE website at 3.30PM but the real problem come once you start trading LIVE.

WHAT is good for one trader may not b the same for the other one....cause greed , hope & fear have diff levels in every trader.....this thread may b positive for some , less positive for some & negative for some (2000 bucks).....consider this....assume that in 1 lac , its possible 2 make 2000 daily..........choose ten traders for xperioment........allot 1 lac 21 every trader before the opening bell in his a/c.....tell them 2 trade on the same stocks with same qty but @ their comfort time.......the results will b widely diff @ 3.30 pm.....many of them would b red @ end while some may have xceeded 2000 profit 2 even 5000.....

making 2000 in 9:55 to 3:30 = 6hours 35minutes which equals 395 minutes

2000/395 = Rs. 5.06 every minute. or 0.08 paisa every second.

This is how time constraints makes earning difficult.

You'll gain and lose many times, so calculate your "Gains" at the end-of-month.

Garg,

My apprehension that FEAR and GREED will play a vital part and a strict STOPLOSS of 10 points will seen you in GREEN.

Last Friday the NIFTY future graph can be divided into 4 segments :

1. Downside 5260-5230
2.Upside 5230-5250
3.Downside 5250-5215
4.Upside 5215-5250.

A total of 110 points were at stake. But the problem was when to go SHORT and when to go LONG?
