Didn't read entire thread, may missed some points.........

At any TF,....... near top volumes turn negative whereas at bottom ......trading activity decline....... and volumes turn positive.......

Something........if that can segricate the negative/positive volumes with price movement.........can certainly provide perfact base........

Kartik,

It is based on some formulas those identify the direction between price & volumes.

It is under re-construction and testing.

The simple rule gose………..if PVRS is under zero……..don’t think for long & visa versa.

You can verify the intraday movement at chart.

Regards

So will we see a bounce back in the coming days.

Even nifty had a high volume and a strength bar...
Time will tell....

Karthik,

Hi friends,

This is my first post in this forum.

I got my hands on Tradeguider today. Run the indicator scanner. Out of the results, the infosys near month contract chart looks interesting. Posting images here. Let us test how good this black box system is. Eventhough the feedback I got about Tradeguider is not encouraging, let us see how it goes. I will post charts once in a while here

Below image is the explanation given by software EA for the signal.

karthik,

Seek your opinion:=
1)was 3rd July a 'No-Supply' & 4th July 'No-Demand' for RIL (Cash).
2) Is 8th July a "Strength coming in" signal ? Becoz the bar has very wide spread, ultra high volume, it closed in the middle part of the bar and made new low,or a 'Retest'

I am going to Long Today with 1989.95 Stop.

Asish

IMHO 3rd July is not a "No supply". Volume was high above average.2nd July saw high volume with close near Top. This is more of an absorption volume. 3rd also high volume and the close was toward the low meaning supply was plenty. 4th July almost qualifies for "No Demand". Supply had fallen off, however for a ideal no demand the stock has to close in the middle or lower.
I would consider it as No demand only. 8th July is ocourse a test. But the high volume shows it is a failed test. Yes 1989 is a good stop.
I am also still learning the ropes
Nice to know that you are into volume spread Analysis.

I plan to start a discussion of "VSA" soon. Making the preparations now
