Hi,

How do you track smart money?

This is the way I do....:)

Sanwaria Agro Oil Ltd - First see chart.

BUY CALL

Reason:
In the above chart I have drawn five points A,B,C,D & E which is explained below:
A.Volumes Higher Prices moves up from 70 to 80 indicate entry of smart money.
B.Volume Higher Prices moves down from 98 to 79 indicate exit of smart money.
C.Volume Higher Prices moves up from 83 to 111 indicate entry of smart money.
D.Volume Higher Prices moves up from 138 to 152 indicate entry of smart money.

On 11 Jan:
E.Volume higher Prices started moving up from 152 to Target indicate entry of smart money as more people started buying this stock bcz of good result declared by the company.

Target - Above 200 if the volume continue to be higher as previous.

SL It will be at or around 140/154 as its previous supp/resis.

Regards,

Hey Buddy tats really a very nice of tracking the markets......

I really appreciate tat but there is always 1 thing yaar....technical analysis alone cannot be completely helpful...u have to be complelety in touch with the markets and ofcourse with the PV datas....bcoz techical charts can speak a different view at 9 am but an altogether different view 11am....

This is bcoz in technical analysis v assume tat market is complelety aware of all the news...and all these fundamentals or triggers impact have been discounted which is not the case always.....

nways u seem quite knowledgeable abt technical analysis

m also a technical analyst working with kotak securities

Hi lucky, its nice to see your way of tracking smart money but I have a question.it is
1) On what basis you are saying that sanwaria agro will touch 200?are u using elliot waves for target of 200 or is it something else. If it is on the basis of volume then how do you set the target of 200?please let me know.

Hi,

My target is based on both technical & fundamental analysis.
Fundamentally the cmp has shown its Q3 positive, which I think will push the prices higher & technically there are plenty of points one can consider.

U can use BOP (Balance of power) indicator it tracks institutional buying and selling, its propriatory to worden bros and is very effective, I saw an afl for this in AB library but never used it so I don't know if its an exact replica of the original. The original code has not been disclosed to the general public so I'm assuming its not an exact replica but it might be close.

Mark Larson has checked the reliability of the indicator in his book and finds it well above average. In addition to this if you use TSV (time segmented volume) in combination with RSI making an RSI+TSV indicator Larson claims 90% accuracy once it crosses the zero line upwards or downwards. This is his claim I have not had the chance to test it.
