Hi Milky. One of my friend is using Ace EOD.
Its an excellent software for a beginner as u will be able to use almost all inbuilt indicators and its very easy to use. he paid 10k initially and pays 4400 annually. U get free EOD BSE, NSE, Commodity and IEOD data.
BUT it is not customizable like metastock or Amibroker ie u cant write ur own indicators. but still i feel, keeping in mind the cost and ease of use for a beginner, its worth buying.
though i am using Amibroker.

Dear Hari, by free i meant that the 4400 annual amount that u pay
is the charge for proving that data which includes BSE, NSE and intraday data provided in the evening.
i m not an employee of spider. I use amibroker

friends...
one more thing i would like to know! which would be the best place to get data for amibroker... hari suggested me stoxtrend and viratech... which is beter and the charge for it?
as a beginner can i use amibroker? or spider would be better? im really confused. plz help on this issue. does the spider software provides data in metastock format?
for amiboker which would be good for me (considering as beginner and no need of day trading for a year atleast) professional or standard? and do i have to buy the ami quote also? why is it needed?

thanks

Regards

if u have some computer knowledge u can also set up amibroker for free. if u dont have any computer knowledge, go for spider. after sale support is good. but there data is only compatible with ACE, not with any other software. yes they provide 10 days demo. but after that u have to pay. try to set up amibroker, if u r not successful, buy ACE. both are good for a beginner.
