My earnings may vary from month to month. Why not make replying easier by relating the earnings to a single month? -say October 2007.

I do not believe it is possible to get an opinion on a subject merely by taking an opinion. Most who have lost or gained would probably fall under 2 or 4.

 well i tried and earned a little and then lost and then again earned...then i came to know...I dont know TA what i was doing was Random tests

In the evening post-eod my friend saw this bearish engulfing and took short positions the following day but since i have already taken long position the previous day i was waiting for opportunities to exit and i did exit half of my positions at break even and half at a good profit while my friends positions were stopped - out . Its a very unique instance where TA was used properly but with varying results . It also shows that T A only inreases the probabilities of making money when used properly but doesnt guarantee profits . As profits also depends upon position sizing , risk management strategies rather than merely following what the charts tell us.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technical_analysis Technical Analysis unless applied with proper rules(as suggested by Oxus,backtested and even frontested in real time market conditions)is just a guessing game. We have seen offsprings of such faulty notions here. I rest my case.
