Hello

I was trying to complete the Trading Plan document during the weekend, finally could get it done it by monday morning. I will now work on extracting 3/4 sub documents/lists from the plan, as a daily routine or check lists also the Plan document itself will need some review, will try to do that during this week.

I will try to post the todo lists.

Thanks

Talking Give me a break.

Hello

Was just browsing through the traderji forum, seeing some old posts, some unseen sections etc.

It seems there is a new trend of posting that I am quitting, am leaving, will post no more, this is my last post, am leaving for the mission impossible, going on quest etc.. kind of dramatic announcements.

The most ammusing part about it is the boarder keeps answering queries and keeps ranting and never really goes aways

Must be the influance of so many Saas Bahu seriels on the idiots box. Just reminds me of one of the my fav dialogs from bollywood

Sala Nautanki

Ghari ghari drama karta hai

Thanks

Hello Naveeia

Thanks for your interest. The reason for me to start the Journal was to get feed back on the trades I do for paper trading and thats why i post chart marked with them. I am continuing to compile my Journal, but did not post the chart yesterday as i thougth there was no need to post them daily, as they may not be of interest to others. I intended to post only the charts for which i would have queries.

The purpose for the entire exercise is trying to understand price action, and for us noobs its the best way to start.

I will continue posting the charts as anyway i log the trades and save the charts for the journal on my PC.

Thanks

The next part of the dialog was: 'Ghari ghari drama karta hai'....Told by Jai.....target was Veeru. But Veeru was doing the drama for Basanti there....And Jai identidied that.
Supposing u r Jai,can u tell me what represents Basanti, for the Veerus here?

Jokes apart, what software r u using for charting and who is ur data vendor?

every one feels upset, angry or even finds the forum useless at certain points. then after some days they start discovering the value again. they come back. whats the drama in it? its drama to many, the same way many posts paper trades and many claim to have made 50% to 200% returns. what is the value of paper trades when no money is involved and your emotions aren't eating you out?

i also once said that i am going for a quest. a 20 day gap in just studying, thinking and analyzing has completely changed the way I look at the mkt.

earlier i used to spend hours on traderji on chat, posts, arguing, debating. now i look at it as entertainment/boredom killer in between the signals generated by my systems.

why am i writing this? To add more drama of course and get entertained. No wonder some Englishman said "All the world's a stage"!

Hello Hari

It may surprise you but I don't know much (actually anything) about software etc. The entire setup was done by the software person from the brokers' office, i have 2 software going on the PC, one for chart and one for rates and orders. The trading software is called diet and charting one is amibroker.

In the program we have a choice of many different charts and indicators, but have selected this one as looks better to me for understanding (can clearly mark Higs and lows). Was getting confused with candle type. I had to get the ppl from the broker to do some changes and also had 2 breakdowns in last 2 weeks.

Hope to be better placed to handle these things, am currently focusing on aspect of backup as mentioned in Saint's thread.

Another thing that i noticed is SAINT, CV and UAsish all are plotting nifty futures, where as i am using nifty charts, am trying to get this done but the software support staff with the broker either don't know how to do it or maybe not interested to get it done.

Thanks
nb

PS: Yes now I remember, 'Ghari ghari drama karta hai' , will update the original post, credits go to you for reminding

Hello beginner_av

I am grateful to you for posting all the replies / posts you made and would urge you to continue posting on this thread.

As you said its good to have entertainment.

Well now on a serious note, I would be quite happy to get more of the posts that we can/should consider thrashing types. Don't we learn 10 times more from them, at the very least they teach us not to get angry.

As for real trading and trading with real money, will definately have to cross that bridge, am sure will get lost of help from real traders like you when i need it the most.

I am sure you will not advice a noob to take money and just start trading without any preprations.

Thanks
nb

take money thats not too much to harm your a/c but big enough to pinch you if you lose. Say 20K 0r 10K 0r even 5K. Now buy 100, 50, 20 or even 10 stocks real life and trade.
