last time i post 60 mints range breakdown trade on hindalco. now i am posting my todays trade on obc as per the 60 mints range breakout. i am still saying that thiis is a very very usefull trading idea without any help of charts/technicals. but one needs some kind of strict risk/money management system to do this kind of trading.

A Good & Quite Common Method. As this method uses the low of the Hourly bar as "Stop & Reverse" Point, for money-management, position sizing becomes extremely important. Also, for profit booking, the position should be run till 3:30 PM or till the time low of any hourly bar is cut.
Further, By breaking down the periodicity, if we find some kind of pattern like rectangle developing, the targets can be more precisely defined.

BTW, on GAP-Up or Gap-Down days like today, this strategy can be used with first 5 minute bar's range itself. If the High of first 5 minute's bar is cut, go long with low as stop & reverse and book profit only at the close of the day.

Best Regards,
--Ashish

Dear all 60 MIN brk out skeptics

Here is my trade on RELIANCE ENERGY based on 60MIN brk out
Still holding 1/2 position for tommorrow.

60MIN brk out does work.
Keep in mind
1. Go with Nifty trend... IF up take longs, If down take shorts
2. See volumes
3. SL & MM

regards

first 60 mints range size is also very important to determind the position size/risk capital.
