Normally this happens in each expiry. if you check the charts on monthly basis if the trend is clear UP / DOWN without zigzag motion then the expiry is always in the direction of the trend. BUT if the the monthly chart shows there is a Zig-Zag motion market tend to go and settle towards the intermediate range which in this months case is in the range os 4400 to 4350. It is most likely that in next three days the market will stage a recovery on day to day basis with upper target of 14900 on SENSEX and 4400 on NIFTY MAX. and the settlement will b @ 4350 on Nifty
