Thanks Sunil (not just for posting the charts but also for sharing your excellent ideas) and just a small suggestion. Could you use a pair of MAs for the first 3 charts (like a 5/13 or 8/21 pair)? The crossovers might be interesting. Also suggest using a corresponding MA (13 or 21) for the Nifty as well. The divergences would be another interesting thing to note.

Kalyan.

what to say SS about such great stuff and a big heart to post them here. only a suggestion. Instead of joining the dots, why dont u try to plot as price bars and FII figures as histogram. will provide a lot more visual clarity

Hi Lucky, thanks for your compliments. Asish,Kalyan and BAV, thanks for your suggestions and I will make the necessary modifications next week. New additions will be New Highs-New Lows, TRIN or the Arms Index, McClellan Oscillator, 30 Day Most Active Indicator. These will be for both BSE and NSE.

Regards all,

ss. :)

I was also thinking in terms of an outperformer : underperformer ratio i.e. no. of stocks that have made % move higher than the index to those that have moved less. This may actually be better than the 20d H:L 'coz even while making a 20d high, a stock may have actually underperformed (i.e. moved less than) the index in recent sessions. So this will bring to fore the underlying weakness/strength even earlier.

To experienced Amibroker users :

Are all of Sunil's indicators implementable in Ami? Where do i get the FII, MF data?

Regards,
Kalyan.

Hi Kalyan,

You can get the FII/MF data from Sebi at this link:http://www.sebi.gov.in/Index.jsp?contentDisp=FIITrends

To get the data for a particular month, go to archives and input the last date of that month, and you will get all the data for that month.

Regards,

ss :)
