Hi Sunil,
thanks for sharing such valuable information on early signals of trend.
but people like me have some doubts
what stands for 100,200 etc. at left hand side of y axis , & how to get that in 20-hl chart

also where we get the info of no. of shares above & below 50 dma
i am not using ami, i have fibotrader, is their any scanner

Hi Kedar,

The figures on the Y axis= No of stocks making 20 day highs minus number of stocks making 20 day lows and is in blue color. The yellow line is the average of the blue line. I have a scanner which generates these figures.

dear ss,
this is first time somebody..showing..why a market may fall..
though it has subjectivity.......but this may be treated as right sentiment indicator to predict/...reversal of market in intermediate term..
would u publish ...some or ur research in same light...considering 2006 and 2oo5 correction

Updated till today August 6, 2007. As you will notice, the number of stocks below 50 DMA, and the number of stocks making 20 day lows have increased. Todays breadth was also negative.

I have made slight changes in the charts. The blue line appears as a histogram. The yellow is the 10 day average. MF and FII charts will be posted on Friday.

Yes ss, stick to the Histgrams. Looks neater too.

AD is encouraging (though far from convincing yet). Commensurate with the fact that mid & small caps are outperforming the past few sessions.
