Hi Frank!

Good questions and the answers are not so easy, what with a sectoral rotation going on like a pack of cards being shuffled, more difficult! Let our other friends here have a say on this. Me only talk is no good!

Regards all,

Hi sunil,

It was nice to see your comprehensive home page on market internals on your blog.

Actually I tried to send you a pms but I am not allowed to send pms until I have 100posts. I hope I am not derailing this thread by asking a question on pivot point calculator.

1)There was a section on pivot points calculator on your blog. Can you tell me how to calculate pivot point, support1, resistance1, support2 & resistance2 of a stock using the input values of high, low & close.

2)What formula do we have to apply to get pivot point, support1, resistance1, support2 & resistance2 of a stock?.

Please explain to me in details with an example.

With regards,

Learningcurve

thanks S S for the reply.

yes the sectoral rotation is going on like a pack of cards being shuffled. you never know which sector will start flying tomorrow

every day the picture is very different.

right now, it seems that the
profit booking has started in the reliance group from their very highs
and IT sector is bouncing back from their lows.
