Understanding history of a stock
Hi all,
I am a newcomer (both to stocks and this board).. so pardon my basic/silly questions. For start I am trying to understand the charts using bseindia.com and nseindia.com websites. So here goes first question: on july 23 to july 25, 2004 there was a sudden decrease in wipro share price from 1535 to 533.. now that looks like a share split to me.. how to find if it really was a share split or other details regarding this sudden price change. s77.
