I think its not wise to generalize here, without a trading plan its impossible to generalize on anything in trading.Whats optimum for one style isnt necessarily for another like pyramiding.If you trade according to a plan, then there is no 'early exits', no 'extra points' to be had.Simple as that.

thanx a lot for your illusrations and guidance. I see some light at the dark tunnel of my trade now, with which I'll try to tread carefully avoiding fatal falls.
* A trading technique taught to me will be remembered all along.

Hi Instaalert,

i have seen your bharti short trade, please go through the attached chart.

i have shown ur entry , and explained my exit method, did u read RSI I and II exit methods,

since, after ur short trade, the down trend was very weak, RSI I exit made money for u, and second time u were hit by breakeven stop, had the trend been strong, u would have booked profit at RSI II exit point.
