Confused With Diff Values Of Adx
ZHi,
I'M CONFUSED WITH THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM, PLZ HELP I'M GETTING DIFFERENT VALUES OF ADX(14) IN 1. METASTOCK CHART 2. ADVANCED GET 3. EXPLORATION REPORT IN METASTOCK LIKE FOR ABAN OFFSHORE (5/1/07).... 1. METASTOCK CHART SHOWS -39 2. ADVANCED GET SHOWS -32 3. EXPLORATION REPORT SHOWS -43 THANKX

Please check to make sure you are using the same value for the ADX indicator. The default is 14.

The difference could be because of the number of bars you could be loading while running the explorations.
In MetaStock you can set the number of bars you load by going to: The Explorer -> Options -> Select Load and type in 500 in the records box. Click on 'Ok". Also while opening a chart you can get it to load 500 bars. Hope this helps.

yeah that was the problem with metastock & exploration.thankx a lot sir.but one problem is still there like...
for allahabad bank (13.1.07) for metastock & exploration ADX=23 but for advancedget ADX= 15 for all the above case load= 5000 bar plz help.thankx
