Hi!

The pattern may be considered as a brodening formation but most of the area covered by it is white space which casts a very dark shadow on reliability of pattern.

Hi Ashish!

About the ascending brodening wedge, I do not consider such loose patterns as patterns at all. A pattern in except a few cases, an interplay of trendlines and I prefer to draw those trendlines within the immediate pivotal ranges and not beyond that.

However, sometimes such loose patterns may be valid in which case, it's preferable to go to higher periodicity chart and check if the loose pattern on daily charts is a valid pattern on weekly charts. If such pattern is not visible on high periodicity, it's better to avoid them.

Best Regards,
--Ashish

P.S. :-- A chart of SESA GOA with various patterns is attached.
