While looking out for a Cup & Handle Pattern, it's better to look for U-shaped and not V-Shaped pattern. Check out the Ind Swift Lab Chart.

Hi Ashish
Can you suggest me any good books on pattern?

I found this website: http://www.thepatternsite.com/index.html by Thomas Bulkowski.
Is this site sufficient for studying diff. types of patterns?

Thanks

Hello all,

Can anyone please clarify the volume interpretation in the attached chart : Corp Bank is forming descending triangle. But its volume information is confusing.

Praveen.

Positive Breakouts in falling Market:
Nagarjun Construction-- Failed Descending Triangle
KEC- Ascending Triangle
CrewBow- Rectangle
HDFC Bank- Ascending Triangle

The Negative Ones:

Allahanad Bank, ONGC- Symmetrical Trading.

Enjoy the Trades!

Hi!

Technical Analysis of Stock Trends by Edwards & Magee is the best.
Thomas Bulkowaski's orientation is statistical and hence it's suggested as a follow-up reading.

Hello Ashish,

What kind of trailing stop loss you are using? For pattern trading, what are the trailing SL methods will be effective, like last bars low/high, some % below close/high, pivot low/high, etc

Thanks,
Praveen.
