My Bank Nifty Option trades.

#21
I was looking at the Options contracts chart with OBV and a 36 MA put on OBV charts....they give good trend trades.....we take only those ,that will be enough.

Yes ST ji. I think the parameters to construct the channels should not differ between the various platforms like ami/ninja/tt/pi but yes as i am using Tick charts for my trades, perhaps happy ji or somebody else could suggest the TF corresponding to 500Tick and 100Tick charts.

Not Fair :D

Rules should be as per the OP, and not depend on least common denominator

That makes it 200% profits, so either the capital increases to 1L or profit decreases to 50 K

Happy :)
Knowing how Bank nifty options price moves, and Varunji's trades making Rs 1,00,000 will be achieved in less than a month....

Looks very promising :) ...Everybody excited for this new venture :)

Varunji first you pen down all the description ,AFL /charts whatever you like in your continuous post then only everyone will query if they have any....So that everything will be in one post and will be easy to understand in one go...Just my suggestion based on previous experience :)

Hi Varun

On a typical day BNF on 10 minutes will have similar number of candles as a 500 Tick chart,
but the charts differ as time to form 500 ticks will be different in opening/closing sessions (2-5 Minutes) and mid sessions (10-15 Mins)

Same goes for 100 Ticks . . .

If some one is trying to approximate, they can try out Constant Volume charts

But I strongly feel that you should not change anything about the system (including the candle type)
Others should find ways to implement the logic on their platform.

Anyway whatever you decide :thumb:

Happy :)

Hi everybody. I would like to seek all of your good wishes to embark upon this seemingly impossible journey of doubling my investment in 20 Trades or less.

May the markets give me timely insights of deciphering its moves.
Great...Beating me also...Mine was 40 trade.

Let's see..

Best of luck.

Subhadip ji there is no competition with any body. I just challenge myself. That said i need to formulate rules and a strategy to come up with a disclosed plan. Will work on it over the weekend and then start probably next week. Have taken inputs from everybody who has suggested. It is an uphill task where we are just not talking of 500 points in crude mini. It is equivalent to 5000 Crude points, so need to devise a strategy where first and foremost i do not blow up this account. If i am still standing at the end of one month then hopefully (if the markets co-operate) we could reach the targets. But for now the 20 trade limit is off the table looking at the sum involved (from a small investor's point of view). I just cannot throw caution to the wind. Plan your trade and trade your plan very carefully is the motto.

Yes TP ji, it does not make sense as if i were to use 5000 then i could have almost doubled it twice today already. (I bought a 23500PE at 75 in the morning and Exited at 125 and then bought 23400CE at 100 which went on to make a high of close to 180. (my costing is 100-50 = 50)). So did not come online as this is a grey area, as to what to use as capital and how to quantify it, because technically if i started with 75*40= 3000 then when 23400Ce was at 150, i would have doubled my capital in 2 trades. Pls suggest what to use as benchmark and how to go about this challenge.
If you don't declare the starting capital how one or you can calculate that you doubled or not ? Am I missing something ?

Wish you success in this thread too as your other threads.
