Thanks. Missed out on that one. Maybe later if it comes down.

That is why i feel we are far far away from a real bear mkt. This country (like many other developing nations) has just started to grow We're knowhere near the end yet. We may still have these intermediate bear phases (due to valuation run-ups, base effect, global factors etc) but each of these will be opportunities to buy.
And in such a secular bull mkt it's the long term investors who'd be bigger gainers than the in-&-out players. I trade because i need the cash flows but also keep a part of my portfolio in investments.

Great man. Have a lot of respect for him.

Regards,
Kalyan.

Do ask him about the mkts All this talk of the 5th wave completing ... bear mkts starting... Ask his views on it.

Yes PunjLloyd is a great company Very high levels of technical competence Where they stand out from the other construction/engg companies (except L&T) is the very high nos. of international contracts they have. So they are not just confined to domestic orders.

Im not sure if he will talk about technicals because he never has. I respect EW and follow them myself nevertheless i shall ask him.

I must add that MTNL was his call and he asked me to sell it a few weeks back. He was talking about some deal failing which was expected to make through. Wonder what it is?

No need to mention EWT or any other Technicals. Just ask him how he thinks the mkts will fare in the next couple of years. Whether we have run up too much, whether things will become bearish from hereon etc.

Never tracked MTNL closely so no idea really. But broadband & IPTV may shore up their fortunes a bit. Also there's a proposed merger with BSNL that's still hanging in the balance.

By the way a company called AKSH OPTIFIBRE is providing the opt fibre network & equipment (backbone) for MTNLs IPTV rollout. so this company may actually be a bigger beneficiary of the rollout than MTNL itself!

Yes that's a great one too (I had posted about it in a Fundamentals thread). Best thing about such companies is they are not limited to any one player. Tomorrow they may provide content & other services to Reliance, Bharti as well.

I am also holding a bit of RelCOMM bought on the day mkts turned around. They may succeed in picking up Hutch's stake in the Hutch-Essar JV. That will give them a big big mkt in the GSM space. There's another contender though - MAXXIS from Malaysia.

Good Lord! - then i'd better sell RelComm today!! If Hutch has such fiercely loyal subscribers then Reliance ... better watch out!
