There is many alternatives for free softwares but the problem is where to get free data for that software.

Best freeware software for beginners is chartnexus, it provides 3 yr of free eod and auto update at the end of the day also it has all the basic features which a beginner requires , personally iam using frm 1 and half yrs got so much practice with basic tools and chart reading now looking forward to another advanced sw...and to learn price action use candlestik charting techniques by steve nison to master the pyschology of market gud luk bro
