How to print an entire thread along with images

Dear All

I just wanted to share an experience of printing an entire thread along with all the images intact.

The host servers like imgur,tinypic etc start deleting the images on their server after sometime(time unknown),the result of which is that the images from our threads disappear.

We are left with only the description without the image.
One way is to print the entire thread through the forum option ,unfortunately all images stored on the third party server are not printed.The other way is to manually select the content and paste it in a word document which is very time consuming for a very long thread.

First install PageZipper , an addon for firefox.This works on other browsers too.

Its features,

I just took around 50 pages in one way,not to overload the printing process.This is a slow process and takes some time.

After that install print to pdf extension.

Once both utilities are installed, open the thread you want to print and start PageZipper from the toolbar menu(you can customize your toolbar to get the pageZipper and print to pdf file icons)

Select the number of thread pages to be selected from the Page Zipper toolbar,by pressing Cntrl+Down arrrow.

After selecting the number of pages,press the print to pdf icon and save the file location for the pdf to be saved.

That's it you are done.!!!

1) Since we still need to scroll each page - you can set traderji option to show 40 posts per page instead of 10
2) Images can be small sometimes and we need to click to get original size. Any way to get full size automatically?
3) PageZipper is also a bookmarklet. But PZ didnt work for me earlier. I dunno why but after scrolling lots of pages, pdf print had many empty pages. Tried few times and gave up. So i just use PrintPdf + open all links in tabs.

I just set the page limit option to 40 and used pagezipper in chrome.

After zipping all thread pages by Page zipper ,just right clicked and selected print ,in the option i selected PDF.

Right TracerBullet, same experice with me also. I too found many blank pages with PZ. Hence abandoned using it. But Amit, didn't you experienced this?
Edit : using Chrome / IE. Will try FF, if it works..

Yes ,
Initially when we open an pdf ,it takes some time to load all the pages.
After sometime I was able to view all the pages printed.

So print to pdf was not working reliably for me, hangs sometimes. Some search and i get better way - UnMHT

This allows saving all open tabs ( can select ) in 1 file that can be opened by some browsers ( firefox needs extension - UnMHT itself opens it too). Benefit is that entire look of traderji is preserved. I tested without internet and file loads fine. Even images can be clicked to increase their size ( Default options - didnt click but changing options worked : save format = single file No index + save state = Original File)

Page limit or posts limit. I think the post limit option comes without images.

I tried Pagezipper with Printpdf, lots of blank pages with some good pages at the beginning and end

Thanks for correcting WISP ,Its post per page display from user Control panel options ,Dont use Print PDF .Rather use default print option in chrome ,Just right click after zipping and select print .

At place of selecting printers select PDF and save.

Actually, PrintPDF hasn't been updated for 8 years so far and it surely needs one. Yup, it still works with newest versions of Firefox, it creates PDF documents as well but their quality is somewhere in the middle. They have layers as they suppose to, but lose formatting in the vast cases. So you need to fix these things manually by the editor https://4000a-125-2-form.pdffiller.com/ or get a poorly crafted PDF as is. Might be nice if it worked in the right way from the outset
