Well I will suggest you to check with ACER laptops, they are best and tough with high battery backup. For trading long lasting battery backup is needed and this one is best known for battery backup!

I want to buy best laptop for online trading purpose.
I m trading based on 15 or 30 or 60 min chart.
Tracking maximum 4 script at a time.
My budget is Rs 25000.
Power Backup is expected min upto 3 hrs.
I have to carry it with me and travel.

There are too many laptops are availble in market so i m getting confused.
Hope that I will get help from here.

You don't any high end laptop/pc for normal trading
Don't need to speed big money,if you need only 5-6 charts opened real time
Just use common sense
I3 and 4gb is min
Rest of all depends on budget and what kind work you want to do
Basic laptop/pc will work for trading even with 1 min with 5-6 charts opened in amibroker.[Even more charts windows with common afl's]
if you wish to open more 8-10 charts and alot of afl in charts then you need powerful system for i5 and more ram.
You only high end system when your running complex afl codes with many real time charts.

Hi

You have described very well for the requirement of a laptop, for trading purpose.
I have an HP 14 inches laptop about 3 years old. Though it is working, but due to overheating, it has started creating problem. Any solution for this overheating. Or otherwise, I plan to purchase a new one, preferably of i5 series.

Can you please suggest some laptop models in the range of 40-45K and please also suggest whether it is good to buy from online sellers or not (pros and cons).
Thanks

Two solutions

A) If laptop is under warranty (or you are willing to shell out cost of this), open laptop's fan and cleanse all the dust inside. HP laptop's fan have spherical casing around 'em that gathers fine dust and over-time affects its ability to dissipate heat. If that solves the problem, do provide feedback to HP

B) Buy an external Cooling pad and use that.

I had a similar issue on my Toshiba laptop. Bought a cooling pad from flipkart, cost ~250, its fixed the issue for good.

open it up, clean dust esp around fans and repaste cpu. (search for instructions, its easier than it sounds or go to some tech shop)
Unfortunately, these companies have some horrible pastes and both my old toshiba and now HP started overheating after about a year.

if you cant do that, atleast underclock your cpu reducing voltage (even easier - you just need to run tool after reading how to do it) + get a laptop pad with fan placement aligned with your fan intake below.
Made a big difference on my old stupid toshiba that had faulty bios and wouldnt run its fans in linux.
