I have invested in ULIP & premium payment mode is monthly. If the last installment of mandatory 3 year lock-in period falls on say 18-07-09, can I redeem all units on 19-07-09 to terminate it? Whether whole of the payment be tax-free in this case?
Or if these monthly payments are 'locked in' individually for 3 years as in the case of ELSS monthly SIP?
