HRA benefit to be claim by my bro & I.
Hi,
I've two questions: 1. My yonger brother & I work in different-different software companies. We stay together in rented house and planning to move to new rented house. Of course, we would have signed lease agreement. How can we both claim both HRA exemptions? Can single lease agreement be on named on my brother & me to claim tax benefit by both of us or do we require to create two seperate lease agreements? 2. What is minimum duration of fixed deposit to be claim as tax deduction? Thanks
