Exclamation - Tax for a day trader

Hi friends,

How does a day-trader pay tax? Suppose if one mostly does intra-day trading, then in a year, he may not even remember how much did he earn from which scrip, and on which day, as he may surely have about 4-5 buy and sell transactions daily. So how is tax computed for his purpose? Also, what treatment is to be made for the losses that one incurs in day trading? Please reply

Ali
