Hi all,

There is a caveat to the tax free nature of dividend income from MFs.

No tax is applicable for Mutal fund that were purchased more than 90 days prior to declaration of dividend.

Regualr income tax rules will applicable be divideds received from MF purchased less than 90 days.

I hope this will help some of the readers.

regards,
HAK
