Default Taxation on Liquid funds and its effect on STPs

Hi Traders and investors,

Im planning to invest in a liquid fund and do an STP to some equity / balanced fund (with >65% equity) exposure.
What would be the tax on the money lying in the liquid fund ?
Will there be short term capital gains tax on amount withdrawn by STP ?
Suppose instead of STP if I withdraw my funds what would be my post tax returns ? If anyone has any workings it ll be great.
Thanks
Sri
