Tax Calculation
Dear Traderji, & Seniors;
I like to know How to calculate the tax as : 1). I bought 6 shares of Infosys on 12-08-2004 at Rs. 1497, 5 on 08-11-2004 @ Rs.2028, 10 on 02- 12-2004 at Rs 2080 & 5 on 19-04-2005at Rs.1950. 2). Added 26 shares as bonus on 18-07-06. 3). Sold 12 shares on 19-09-2006 at Rs.1824. 4). Received Rs 1540/- as dividend. 5). paid Rs. 454 towards brokerage, STT, service tax etc etc... Please advice me how to calculate the tax for financial year 2006-07. Is there any excel sheet or program to calculate the same/ Thanks..........
