Has anyone based on the US successfully applied for a PAN online ? The guidelines state that anyone with any foriegn address can pay only by Demand Draft payable at Mumbai. Also the currency mentioned is Rupees. Wanted to know how does one get a DD in the US in Indian rupees and payable at Mumbai. Is this something one could do at an US Bank ?
If there are any other way for payment that has worked I would like to know.
