3-15 EMA Triggers

Sorry for posting this in wrong thread but you seems to be correct person to answer this.
Whenever we see charts to find EMA cross over, we refer stock's chart but we always trade in derivatives. I guess there is a price difference between them. Or we refer derivatives charts? In that case we can not trade it for first 15 days (to form 15 EMA).
