There has been lots of speculation on Prism Cement. It is trading at rs.21 with volume. Are there any chances of it being taken over by bigger cement co.

Hi Amitbe,

I was also awaiting your reply for the question posed by Ravi!
Thanks for the clarifications.

I have two more questions:
1. Today Usha Martin has gone up suddenly and has reached Rs.86.
So, will it go up still or is it time to book profit?
I was on loss till now and if it goes above 87 I will start profiting.
So, I want to know your views.
2. In the latest issue of Outlook Money they have given Maharashtra Seamless as good buy and they had suggested a price of Rs. 370.
But, it has gone up consistently for last 4 days and reached Rs.400 today.
So, is it still ok to buy it or will it goes down in the days to come and shall I wait for that?

Please do suggest.

Regards,
Narendra

Hi Narendra…UshaMar is trading at a crucial level currently at 86-90. Has an important level of 89-90, and at crossing this clearly, you could expect around 94 as the first target. So far today it has touched 90 and fallen back a bit.Has some semblance of support at 85 if it should slip, and the next support at 80. Volumes and accumulation have been on the flat side lately, but today there is a pick up in volume. It is an early stage of a possible rally by the looks of it as of now, so hold for sure!
MahaSeamless, I’m not too sure about just now. The buy given by Outlook could be for any news etc, though it is a great company and the results come on the 20th now. Has given good results consistently, so that could be one reason for the run up. 375-378 levels are strong supports for now and the volume-accumulation have dipped Friday and today. Be cautious is all I can say, as I’m not sure of the target from here.
From my last post, I strongly back Pricol and Mphasis BFL, if you are interested.
Aegis Logistics is circuit locked at 107!
Hi gaurav…your scrip is not on NSE so will check at BSE this evening.
Fairfar22…Prism has been in a bit of a rally, and doing ok. No idea of any take over.
If LICHousFIN manages to close above 239, is good for 249 tomorrow I feel. Volumes are good and has touched 239.90 so far.

Hi Amitbe,

Thanks for the tips related to Usha Martin.
It is lingering around 90-91.
I will wait and watch for sometime as you suggested.

Also, after I read your post, I got interested in Pricol.
Pricol is at Rs.55.5.
So, is it ok to buy at current level?
And what is the target price and time?

Thanks,
Narendra

Hi Amitbe,

I want to know your views on Eicher Limited.
For past two months the stock has constantly gone down.
Not only that......the volume has also come down tremondously!
Is there any particular reason for this phenominon?

What is the short term and long term outlook for this stock?

Thanks,
Narendra

Hi all…
Both Aztec and Rolta are teaching a good lesson on how a scrip stands on thin air without making a firm launching pad first. Both have darted about madly in complete uncertainty. I had mentioned to Jaspal that given the lack of a firm base, Aztec could flit down and it was amongst the top losers yesterday.
On the up side, though slipping a tad, Allahabad Bank did about 8.5 lakh volume and 70% of the quantity was deliverable. There is hope yet again!
Century, India Bulls and BOI made smart gains, and BOI may be nearing saturation. I’ll seek an exit today and move on to other things.
Cummins is consolidating well and Godrej looking good in the 28-32 band for some time. Both Godrej and Gammon need volumes now as both have traded in a range lately.
LICHsgFin never kept above 239 off levels, where it drops back from. Keep an eye, as past that level it will aim at 145-148. In the near term it is showing a lot of promise for now and can out perform.
From yesterday’s posting, both Mphasis and Pricol made smart bullish moves.
Narendra, 55-57 are crucial levels for Pricol as I mentioned yesterday, and has support at the current levels. Like I said, take your chance past 57 close, and the target I cannot tell, but is going to be handsome, and we’ll take it up when it moves.
Chanbal Fert was called at 33.95, and after intraday high of 35, closed 34.65.
Nagarjuna Fert, called at 16.40, did intraday high 17.10 to close 16.95 with almost one crore volume. I really like this one for 22-24 target near term.
IOB was called at 84.20, and a freak opening of 85.20 spoiled the fun as it struggled all day and closed lower. Volumes 6 lakhs, so keep this one in sight too. Both BOI and IOB, sound like inversed twins, eh? And both are becoming big boys now!
Escorts slipped, but is in a bull move and had 29 lakh volume. It is forming new high levels, so be cautious.
SBI Home Fin called at 21.55 lost a few paise, and the volumes fell too. It’s given a break out couple of sessions ago, so keep good watch.
Aegis Logistics of course got locked at 5% up at 107, called at 102.25. May have lot more left.
Kopran called at 77.55 suffered from the same freak opening of 80.40, and couldn’t keep up, to close at 77.95. There goes a good chance, but caution…it tends to be volatile.
Arvind and Alok made great moves yesterday, but caution again to those considering them. Both very frisky to lose ground, especially Arvind.
Ashok Leyland can also be looked at for quick in out from current close of 27.65, may be a couple of rupees.
Hi Narendra…about Eicher which closed 120 off yesterday. Shows no sign of recovery, though made an attempt at 123 yesterday with very poor volumes. 123 off is crucial for it to remain above or around, failing which could slip lower to 110 levels. No buy for now, I’d say. Perhaps some news could help, or results?
Thanks phoenix for the appreciation. You are known to make great calls to, friend!
Final note of caution: It is believed that when penny stock go blazing, the bull run is close to the end. Penny stocks are running as we know. Be careful, the market could drop after yesterday’s run. Both Dow and Nasdaq fell too.
That’s for now.

Don’t ignore Kale at close above 97. This has been an under performer and will try to join the rally. Difficult to set target beyond 105. Can go places.
The biggest gainer from my calls was Kale Consultants, and in such great style. From 94 levels went to a 20% circuit break on huge volumes. Feels most gratifying to pick a winner like this. Had picked at 90 off levels but held it a while. A lesson in patience indeed and well rewarded. Hope some one else also made it. Difficult to set target at this point but may well become a favourite of the bulls. Let’s see if it corrects at some point to enter.
The other IT under performers on my list, Rolta and Aztec behaved better today in not scurrying about and consolidating in tight bands. There day is not far as they have already tested higher levels since I’ve called them. Same holds true for Sonata.
India Bulls is giving yet another great chance at slipping today by 10 rupees to 173 off. I have a target of 220 plus next month.
Still holding BOI which rallied late today to 121.75 on 11 lakh plus volume, and with 35% deliverable quantities, it seems there may just be some more juice left.
Same with Allahabad Bank, which titillated in a two rupee band all day with almost 17 lakh volume, with over 50% deliverable. It has been so severely restricted below 90 off, and a break-out at last seems so near now.
Arvind and Alok are cousins it seems, cut from the same cloth they make! With so much promise, have been the worst laggards in the textile lot and even the hot air-bags at CNBC etc. have quit naming them as favourites for some time.
Both made good gains on huge volumes. Arvind had exhausted itself at 140 off levels about a month ago, fallen back and is recovering. At 135.50 close today, will make a bid for the higher levels of earlier times again. This time the long awaited break past 140 may come and should then get to 150.
Alok has a stiff resistance around the current close of 67.20. Don’t pick it till it clearly leaves that mark behind, and closes over 69 off on volumes. Could be a good spurt from there.
Dabur is consolidating nicely at 141 off levels on ok volumes and will sooner than later make a bid for the 150-160 levels of last week. Is a slow mover, so choose your time to enter.
Pricol is inching towards passing the 57 mark, at close of 56.20 today. Wait for it to close above 57 off with volumes. If the results are favourable next week, expect 65-70 at least.
Chanbal and Nagarjuna Ferts, I’m holding. Chambal shed 10 paise today closing at 34.55 on big volumes with intraday 35.25. Nagarjuna also shed 10 paise to close at 16.85 on much bigger volumes. Again the high opening of 17.15 did the mischief. They are both good, folks.
Some thing peculiar cooking at Eicher: Yesterday and today the opening trades were freakishly above the previous closes. Yesterday close was 119.90, and opened today at 132! Closed 121 off. A similar move took place yesterday’s open. On RSI and volumes, there is a very faint look up. Please keep an eye every body, just in case.
Thanks.
