Hi mtash...and trading-wizard, I don't track penny stocks as such, but had come acrross Marsons in response to a query last night. At 7.50, looks good for 10 first and perhaps more. Be careful though as penny stocks can be deceptively dangerous in such a market.

JPAssociates as mentioned earlier, and Ind Swift Labs are looking strong at curent 280 and 192. JP's near term target is 330 first, and Ind Swift has a long way to go. Good investments in the short term, both.

Gammon is a great company, but besides this, there is a play in the infrastructure sector. Lately again, the govt. has committed a very large outlay to roads, airports, seaports, power-plants etc. Construction companies, capital good, engineering and cement are the obvious beneficiaries.
Another sector that should come out with good earnings post the good monsoons, together with the govt. subsidies is the fertiliser and agro chemicals industry.
Sugar and pharmaceuticals is good too.
Thee are many choices available across the board, but most good ones have run up already.
I’m listing a few good scrips here which have good upside potential going ahead into the mid to long term.
Gammon CMP 376.
Era Construction CMP 149
Noida Toll Bridge CMP 28
Mahindra Gesco CMP 197
Praj Industrries CMP 113
Patel Engineering CMP 243
SKF CMP 212
Jp Hydro CMP 32
Prism Cement CMP 25
India Cement CMP 107
Guj. Ambuja Cem CMP 65
Jain Irrigation CMP 171
Deepak Fertiliser CMP 81
Chambal Fertiliser CMP 35
Ind Swift Labs CMP 195
Nicholas Piramal CMP 258
Dabur CMP 150
Thee are so many more likely winners and would be a long exercise to look them up.
These could be taken at any decline, and are not necessarily about to go through the roof. Most of these have already had such breakouts, and from here on are mid to long term plays.
Any members interested can make a note too. I could suggest likely entries to these, but please do some work and decide which you like before posting.
Nandan(nn0023) you can look here too.
Regards.

Hi ragh_ash, what saint said is perfectly true.
On the other hand, your time horizon is 6-8 months if I remember right, and so you are an investor and not into it as short them trades.
The stocks mentioned by you don't seem to have any downside at curent levels.
Since I have Financial Technologies and track it daily, let me tell you it is not showing any weakness at the current 900-920 and consolidating very well here. When it abruptly spurts, it covers 50-70-100 Rupees in a day.
Yes, but please be cautious.

Hi ragh_ash,
I would never look at you and tell you that your entry point was awful. That just isn't me,my friend.Just looking out for you.....wanted you to be careful.Definitely want you to fine tune your entry points......MAARS is a rs7 stock,so Rs1 difference in the entry point is like 20%.But I do not want you to be cautious,I do not want you to be tentative,I want you to enter ruthlessly at that prescribed entry point. No thinking ,no emotion after you have set your entry ,exit points.Like what the legendary Sun Tzu would say,"Every battle is won before it is fought".Strategy is everything.

Happy Trading!!
Saint

hI AMITBE,
Thanks for your advice. I have sm info on cummins' bonus history

Last bonus issued in 1994. In 2000, a split was announced.

There is this outsourcing work (fin and accounting) that Cummins India has started doing for Cummins USA. This should be revenue accretive.

Menawhile, Bharti is trading strong at 320. I have ben holding from the 200 level and from wht you have said, I belive i cud add more on declines.

Thanks
Gaurav

Hi Gaurav, I’m not too sure about Cummins not issuing bonuses past couple of years, but this aside, it is a company with strong fundamentals with sustained growth. I had taken it at 120 levels about two months ago, and though it has given a 25% growth since, it has shown itself to be rather erratic. It’s forming a nice bullish thrust these last few sessions, and I am holding for 180.
On Bharti, I at this point don’t how the J/V in life insurance with AXA would reflect in its books. There may be a separate holding company and I’m not aware of this. The over all growth would certainly boost Bharti in every manner. Besides the J/V, Bharti is in an aggressive growth phase and a market leader. Increasing competition and the resulting decrease in profit margins should be more than compensated for by a multiplying customer base and network resulting in ever increasing sales. I’m holding Bharti since 220, and from 300 plus currently, the target for me is 400 in two to thee months.
Regards.
