Hi Adil...322 would be a tight stop and should the market correct a bit deeper, 312-315 levels may also be considered. The concern is your entry wich is just where some strong supply emerges on this counter. To the up, trail stop tightly. However, the sector has taken the fancy of a lot of market analysts. For me it remains a hands off for reasons of govt. pricing policies and the international price volatility and sensitivity. At some point you may want to look at the gas sector as there is much room for growth there currently.
Regards.

Hi Shirish...I'm afraid I'm not clear why. It opened with a sharp gap low and is trading lower. You may want to check for news on it if any. It could be because of a Rights Issue coming priced at 96?
Do check with your broker if you have position.
Regards.

Amit,

Can you throw some light on this "Rights Issue"?
Is it like bonus shares where the price of the share is brought down?
Is it beneficial for the investor?

Please do elaborate.

Regards,
Narendra

Ultra Tech, ACC, Shree Cement are all great counters, but for me represent a trend play...for which one would need to watch for entries.
India Cements is a dark horse in the sector and for the mid to long term too.

Thanks for the reply.

Good going on GujAmbuja for now. It's in a strong position with good support at 73-75-77. Closing above 79 will move to 84-85 zone. As the trend is good you may want to hold and wait the balance as the entry is fairly good.
Another month or so you'd be looking at the third quarter results coming on where the rise in demand post monsoons and the expected rise in price of cement would be factored in. It's a great risk free stock to hold.
See you again.
Thank you Amit. You are right, i have been travelling quite a bit over the last few weeks and hence the absence from traderji.

Suprising move on Hindalco today. I have a position at 123 and todays fall took me by surprise. It started the rise with higher than average volumes so hopefully we should see some recovery in the next couple of trades.

Thanks once again for your inputs on Guj Ambuja

Warm regards
Kishore
